8. Green Man, Brecon Beacons, Wales. Thursday 17 – Sunday 20 August 2023. Best for: creative minds. A serious contender for ‘most beautiful UK festival setting’ with its location in the Welsh Brecon Beacons, Green Man has managed to retain its independent, arty ethos, despite growing in popularity over the years.
For festivals that sound so alike, Shambala, to be held on August 27-30 and Shambhala, which recently wrapped up in the first week of August, are quite different. They both do cater to wanderlust driven souls but the core essence of both is distinctively unique. Shambala is a more family friendly, sunshine-bathed, colourful event.
The Shambala Festival is a four-day music festival that takes place in Northamptonshire, England, since 2000. In addition to contemporary music, the festival hosts rock, pop, folk, world music, and other arts. Leading pop and rock artists have headlined, alongside hundreds of others appearing on smaller stages and performance areas.
Though still a year out, festival organizers are wasting no time getting fans back to the Ranch. Tickets for Shambhala 2023 go on sale September 15 at noon PST.
